Bears quarterback Jay Cutler admitted on his weekly radio show that he’s bothered by the perception that he’s a “coach killer.†“There’s not much you can do,†Cutler told ESPN 1000 during the Waddle & Silvy Show. “I worry about the city of Chicago.†If anything, Cutler believes he’s an asset to the next Bears head coach. “If you don’t believe in yourself,†Cutler said, “you can’t expect the coach to.†Interestingly, several of the candidates have worked with Cutler. During the build-up to his rookie season, Cutler worked with Marc Trestman, and he played under Rick Dennison with the Denver Broncos. He also briefly overlapped with Mike McCoy, who was the offensive coordinator under Josh McDaniels in Denver after Mike Shanahan was fired. “[Dennison is] one of the best [offensive line] coaches in the NFL,†Cutler said. “Great guy off the field.†On McCoy: “I think we had two meetings together, and then [the Broncos] kicked me out… I liked Mike. Knows a lot about football, very flexible.†On Trestman: “That’s kind of before u know what you like and what you don’t like. I enjoyed my time with him.†Source: Chicago Sun Times
Just keep going thru your progressions like a QB, Jay... Keep acquiring some maturity as it goes, grow thick skin, & keep dropping the stoic 'I don't care attitude' by opening up a bit & you'll be a better for it.
Play better than 202 yards a game with 19 tds and 14 ints and a 58% completion percentage. That is a pretty terrible year. Than you wont have the coach killer title.
Jesus dude, you need to get Cutler's nuts off you mind and stop acting like a bitter ex girlfriend towards him. Get your facts right about Cutler and look up his stats in the 4th quarter. He is top 5 in the league.
If his stats in the first 3 quarters were better(11 Tds 12 Ints) he would not have to rely on being fantastic late in the game.
I like your grit, misfitz, but really, you need to step back & review the whole picture so you don't sound like someone not familiar with the game
