The Steelers had running back Beanie Wells in for a physical this week. Wells, drafted in the first round by Arizona in 2009 from Ohio State, was released Monday by the Cardinals. His career, as with Mendenhall's, has been pocked with injuries, particularly to both knees.

Wouldn't mind keeping him and sending Redman to Arizona with Mendenhall. Mendenhall and Redman for Wells...LOL

New report out that the Doctors are wary...

Beanie Wells went to Pittsburgh for a physical but he left town without a contract. Before being released by the Arizona Cardinals earlier this month, the team expressed concern over his injured knee and it now appears as though the Steelers are sharing that concern as team doctors didn’t like what they saw when Wells came in for a physical on Thursday...

are you guys serious? this dude is injury prone, lazy, and doesn't have good vision to find the hole. he wasn't real fast to begin with and now he's even slower. i can't believe anyone wants this guy on their team.

you'd be much better off finding some young legs in the draft.
