NFL.com's Albert Breer reported Thursday that the Chiefs reached an agreement with cornerback Sean Smith, David Canter, Smith's agent, quickly took to Twitter to confirm that it was a three-year contract. Smith was one of our top-15 players available in free agency. Smith is a big, physical cornerback that has shown flashes of brilliance. He's a solid starter at worst, and will be paired with one of the better cornerbacks in the league in Brandon Flowers. Robinson figures to be a nickel back or play safety in Kansas City; he's paid more like a reserve. Source: NFL.com
it seems like there are just a handful of teams that are picking up all of these players ............. chiefs, 49ers, dolphins, cardinals, eagles, colts, and a couple more. most of the teams in the league just seem to be doing nothing. and that may be keeping a lot of these contracts down (except for wide receivers for some reason).
The 49ers have picked up 2 players so far... :icon_confused: Busiest teams have been Dolphins, Titans, Chiefs, Eagles and Colts
