The Baltimore Ravens are replacing future Hall of Famer Ed Reed in their secondary with Michael Huff. The team announced it has signed Huff, who was released by the Oakland Raiders earlier this month. Huff is a versatile defensive back whose best position with the Raiders was free safety, where he earned All-Pro honors as a playmaker in 2010. The 30-year-old was the seventh overall pick in the 2006 draft. According to NFL.com, Huff and the Ravens agreed on a three-year deal worth $6 million. Source: Sporting News
Huff was asked to do a lot for the raiders that safeties arent usually asked to do. His range alone makes him a good signing, but he can play corner and the nickel and do it well. He was a better CB last year than nnamdi
LOL! Last 3 yrs Huff has missed 18 tackles, Ed missed 16 in the regular season alone last year and 5 more in the playoffs. Ed's elite instincts and his veteran presence makes this even but Huff has more range, a better tackler, team's completed 53% of their passes against him at corner last year and he's better at safety. It's at the least equal as far as where Ed is in his career
You just realized Wallace is a twinky? Hmmmm ...... Did you eat a lot of paint chips when you were akid?
