Bills head coach Doug Marrone said the timetable for naming a straying quarterback for his team would be predicated on one signal caller separating himself from the pack. On Monday one quarterback was separated from that competition, as the team released veteran Tarvaris Jackson. Jackson had a short, but strange tenure with the Bills that lasted less than a calendar year. The veteran QB was originally acquired via trade with Seattle for a seventh-round pick last September as an insurance policy at quarterback, but never took the field in the regular season. He re-signed this offseason under new head coach Doug Marrone with the opportunity to compete for the starting job. Source: USAFOOTBALL.com
Jets should sign him to push Sanchez...I don't think the jets want Smith in till next season...Jackson is aight....why not. ...and I fade back to black.
Not sure if Jackson is pushing anything but maybe a line of Shopping Carts at the local grocery store...
Doesn't hurt to fuel the competition. Bring in another camp body to rattle these guys. Jets need a California fire lit under their asses, I'm not saying Jackson is it...but any bit of fire, is fire n could help. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
