The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the team will wear their “Creamsicle†throwback jerseys for the Sept. 29 game vs. the Arizona Cardinals at Raymond James Stadium. That means the winking pirate, known as Bucco Bruce, will be on the side of the helmets. It marks the fifth consecutive season the club will use its former uniform design for a game, according to the Tampa Tribune. The Bucs wore the uniforms from their inception in 1976 through the 1996 season before changing to the pewter and red design and ditching Bucco Bruce. For what it’s worth, Tampa Bay is 1-3 in throwback games the past four years. Source: National Football Post
I don't know why but next to the first version of the pewter pants look (which consequently make me think of Warrick Dunn and Mike Alstott), these are my fave Bucs unis.
This is like our homecoming uni. Love it. Wish the Bucs wore white pants with the red jerseys though. Such a clean look compared to the pewter.
I hated this when Steve Young had to wear em and I hate them today and the "gay" blade dude on the helmet is horrific...
Yea so... I think these are really ugly. Seriously. I'll just step back and let everyone yell at me now. Lol
You guys all say that arena league bs. Anything that doesn't look like it's shipped in from the 70's is "arena league." I don't buy it.
I'm actually considering buying the Gray Seahawks (Fan #12) jersey because you can't really tell what team it is unless you watch the Seahawks. No team logo. Hell, the only way you can connect the Seahawks to their jersey is that tiny little patch on the left shoulder with the team name
