I read an article some time ago that said the closer you are to either end of a snake draft the higher your chances of winning. You're better off picking 14 than you are 6-10 for instance. There were a lot of stats to back it up too.

 

Ive always preferred being as close to the swing as possible.

 

Yea I think of that's order we're sticking with I don't like it. Lol. 5 is kinda no mans land.

I've never had pick trading before. Doesn't everyone have to have the same amount of picks?

No, if you were to trade, say, your first and second round pick to move up to #1, you'd just have one less draft pick than everyone else and have to fill a roster spot through FA after the draft.

Nosir. Draft pick trading does work better with keepers, but what the hell might as well have the option anyway.

I'm down to put it up to vote, but in my experience money leagues work way better as redrafts, so that everyone starts each year on equal footing with an equal chance at the cash. Keeps interest up and people coming back. If someone drafts badly and/or hecks off a team and keeps garbage when other people have good players, its easy for them to walk away instead of throwing their money away, and it's extremely difficult to get someone to take over a bad team in a keeper league if they are going to be paying to do so.

 

Especially in a big league like this. A couple top keepers is a huge advantage in a 14 teamer, if we were to actually do it I'd push hard for only one keeper a year.
