When the Milwaukee Brewers' Ryan Braun accepted his 65-game suspension in an agreement under the drug-testing agreement, there was a strong, angry reaction from other players. Some of that may be because of phone calls Braun made in the days leading up to the decision of his appeal, in February 2012. According to sources, Braun called veteran players around baseball privately at that time to lobby for their support. In the calls -- confirmed by three sources -- Braun told other players that in the preparation for his appeal, some information had become known about the collector of his urine sample, Dino Laurenzi Jr., including that he was a Cubs fan -- with the implication he might work against Braun, who played for a division rival of the Cubs. yep, there are a lot of similarities between braun and lance armstrong. i've heard some players, ex- and current, that would like to see him banned for life but the union agreement won't allow it.

I feel like some players are being a little to high and mighty on this. If you are going to give Braun the lifetime, then theres a lot of other old-timers who roided worse than Braun did who deserve the lifetime too.
Old timers that no longer play? And did any of them go out of his way to ruin a man to cover his own ass? Not only ruin a guy, but claiming him to try and ruin Braun because he was Jewish. That is why Braun should get a ban longer than 65 games.
Braun is a lying sack of crap,and he should have to sit out next year too for being a liar beyond the level a rod is! he got off a previous drug ban because of a technicality,and then lied his butt off saying he would always be clean,even lied to a business partner's face about it! he's a tub of pure crap!
You mean like going before congress and flat out lying? Braun wasn't the first to lie about it and probably won't be the last.
Did I mention he lied? That doesn't meant crap to me, it's the fact he slandered an innocent man for personal gain. And the guys that lied to congress no longer play, who gives a heck what happenes to them. This read between the lines loyalty you have for Braun is sad.
Reading your statement leads me to believe you have an agenda against crap. Comparing Braun to crap is unfair to crap. Crap don't lie. When you feel a crap coming on you can bet it will arrive, maybe at the most inconvenient time but it doesn't lie. Sorry about going off topic....
and to get back on topic, the problem I have with Braun is the same on you have. Slandering a guy, with possibly the worst way, by claiming he is anti- sematic.
and just like somebody using phrases to call black people names folks will believe it 100% when you call somebody anti sematic and say that the person used a racist term in describing people.I expect next season when braun comes back,somebody drills him over all this.
and there is no way to put that genie back into the bottle. once the claim is made people will think it true no matter what you say to the contrary.
