With the 26th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Pitt WR Jonathan Baldwin. A game-controlling receiver who has flashed the ability to dominate opponents the past three seasons, Baldwin always extends and makes catches away from his body. Baldwin was one of the more dominant receivers the past two seasons after making an immediate impact with the Panthers as a freshman. He has the size and skills necessary to be a productive second receiver on the NFL level if he learns to do the little things well. Possesses a great amount of upside potential but is by no means a sure thing for any team. Source: Sports Illustrated
Agree they could've gotten Baldwin later. I heard the Chiefs were trying to trade out...maybe things just didn't work out in time. Baldwin seems like a "Haley-type" receiver.
By season #2 Haley will be screaming at him on the sidelines for not completing routes and dogging blocks. Really disappointed that the Chiefs took him in the first place, but that he was #26 just doesn't make sense. Of course I hope he works out, but I think they just drafted a future migraine.

never was thrilled wit baldwin as a prospect, the calvin johnson comparisons made me cringe....liked him the least of the big 4 Julio, AJ, Floyd, Baldwin...even tho floyd stayed another year, that recruiting class of WR was insane from 2008 both he and AJ Jenkins went to teams that could turn their careers around though
