The Washington Redskins remained undefeated in the preseason with a 30-7 victory over the Buffalo Bills that featured a strong showing from third-string quarterback Rex Grossman. The Bills were without Kevin Kolb for the majority of the game after he left with concussion-like symptoms in the first quarter, and were instead led by undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel. While Tuel completed 10-of-17 passes for 63 yards, the Bills couldn't find an offensive rhythm throughout the game and finished with just 155 yards of total offense, compared to 452 for the Redskins. Grossman completed only 11-of-21 passes in a starting role for the Redskins, including a seven-yard touchdown pass to Pierre Garcon in the first quarter, but his 171 yards passing was more than enough to get the Washington offense started. Still good to see the Redskins D play the way they did. Is Pat White going to get a roster spot out of attrition? He is a gimmick QB at best.
I'd love to see them keep him and work him into the offense some to give rg3 a break for 10 plays a game.they should cut grossman and keep him,but the coaches are in love with grossman,they will probably keep him which is confusing because the only league team that wants him is the skins.if they cut him they can always resign him in an emergency.
Only thing i think it can be is he knows the system better than anybody on the team including the coaches. they should ask him to retire and stay on as qb coach if that is the case cause he flat out sucks as a starting qb!
He's so sketchy when he's throwing....he'll be on point and then fires off two or three throws that make you wonder if he's just brain damaged.
two years ago,i was ready to hang his ass,but now i'd just be content to shot him a few times! i have been a redskins fan going on 45 years,he is the worst qb they have ever had,i would take heath shuler every time over his ignorant brain damaged ass!
i think he got hit on the head one too many times when he played for the ole ball coach at florida.either that or he was an butthole baby!
