Bruno Mars To Sing At Super Bowl Halftime Show

Grammy-winner Bruno Mars will sing at halftime of the Super Bowl in February, a person familiar with the NFL's entertainment plans told The Associated Press on Saturday.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because no announcement had been made. The official word is expected to come at an event in New York's Times Square on Sunday.

The NFL's regular season began Thursday, and the first full slate of games is Sunday.

The Super Bowl will be played Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Halftime shows have drawn more than 100 million television viewers in the United States alone in past years.

people should start calling the halftime show at the super bowl the most boring 15mns on tv. i know he is an old fart,but why not give eric clapton a shot? He can still whip out a tune or two!?

Saw him live. One of the better shows I've ever been to.

 

Mars was just here in Dallas a week or two ago. The review was very good.

 

Eric Clapton? Ugh. How about a comprise. The two untalented homosexuals, Mars & Usher, fight (mostly just grinding their penises together), while Clapton plays Layla in the background?

 

I'd have to throw my vote in for an accoustic "Tears in Heaven" over Layla.
