The Philadelphia Eagles quickly have established themselves as football's most aggressive offense in the dawn of the Chip Kelly era.

They were perhaps too aggressive in the final minutes of their 33-30 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

With 2:32 remaining in the fourth quarter, Michael Vick completed a 25-yard pass to DeSean Jackson to set up the Eagles with a first-and-10 from San Diego's 14. Most coaches would slow things down at that point in an attempt to burn off the clock. Instead, Kelly called three passing plays, spending just 41 seconds of game time.

That's ok, Chip, but in the NFL you must stop the other team from scoring too.

If this crap happens every week it's going to be more of a long season than I thought. Aye.

Kelly lost this game. He knows it. One has to think he's smarter then reid so he wont repeat his mistakes.

If this team has a 20th ranked defense they can run the table.

I didn't know Kelly was playing safety this game! Or cornerback. Or linebacker.

ball in the baskett, I know it's one game. That's why I said if this keeps up. The same thing happened week 1. Played great 1st half and then crap the bed 2nd half.

As for my season expectations, I want to see the team grow and get better. I don't care if they go 1-15, I at least want entertaining football in which this team grows. It'll take a season to adjust to Chip, I just don't want him to out think himself.

i hear you but we all knew the defense would blow this season. Its expected they will give a ton of points and yards up but the game WAS STILL in kelly's hands at the end and he blew it. He admiied as much that he flat out hecked up at the end and it cost them the game.

I have them going 6-10. Also had them going 1-1 after two. Just had it backwards on who they would beat.

They are rebuilding and the defense is a mess. If they can hold teams to 25points the team willmake a big run but thats even a pipedream with this crap.

Maybe I need to go back and look at the replay, but can someone explain to me exactly what he did wrong at the end? How could it have played out any differently or better?

not going for 3 passes run the ball a bit to get the clock down tie the game go into ot. I don't blame him to much for going for the win though.

Players not running out of bounds on the last drive wouldve helped too.

So people are calling out the time management on their last offensive drive. Okay.

Taking away LeSean's biggest run of the day, he average 3.5 yards on 10 carries. San Diego was not gonna let LeSean get yards. That was obviously their MO. Could they have forced the Chargers to burn up their three timeouts? Sure. But the way those buttholes were carving our defense up, it wouldn't have made a difference.

I dunno, I just don't think it was some huge collapse. It sucked the way everything happened, but he knew we were getting yards in the air and weren't getting then on the ground. I don't fault him for it.

Cary Williams did have a royally crapty day.

Yeah, but with 2 minutes left you didn't need to get yards, you needed to burn clock, and if you WEREN'T going to burn clock you needed to have your starting QB in the game. Kelly failed to do either.
