Browns coach Rob Chudzinski declined to name Brian Hoyer as his starting quarterback, Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland reports. Weeden’s sprained thumb injury may give Chudzinski another week from making the inevitable decision – whether to hand over the starting job permanently to Hoyer. Chudzinski wouldn’t tip his hand on Monday. “I’m gonna wait to make any determination on that until I have all the information,†he said. He said he wanted to wait to know Weeden’s status for the practice week – “He’s made improvement.†– and take a more comprehensive look at the Bengals and the early game-plan later Monday night. When Chudzinski decided to start Hoyer ahead of Jason Campbell for the Minnesota game, he notified the quarterbacks on Tuesday. “UIltimately, my responsibility is to make the decisions to give our team the best chance to win,†Chudzinski said. “That’s what we’ll do in this case, as in all cases.†“Again, I just want to have all the information like last week. We’ll look at it every week to make the best determination of who it is that’s going to play that position, and any position.†Source: The Redzone
the browns will not win with weeden at helm. hoyer looked alot better than him despite throwing 3 picks
Well, i didn't watch this game so i don't know actually how he looked but to get his 300+ yards, didn't the browns throw it something like 54 times? If the browns threw it 54 times with weeden, couldn't he put up the same type of numbers?
