QB Jay Cutler Doesn't Regret Delivering Big Hit In Bears Game

I'm guessing people would be questioning Cutler's toughness if he where to slide on that play.

 

i never question when a franchise qb slides, throws the ball away or runs out of bounds. it is the smart thing to do for the other 52 guys on the roster, the coaching staff and front office of the organization, and the fans.

 

This was a nice hit from that game.

I was mainly referring to the cheeseheads who are the main ones who question Cutler's toughness. The smartest play? NO but if that doesn't show anyone some toughness, than I don't know what does.

ah, ok.

you know, there have been a couple of weird situations during cutler's career where the perception was that cutler should have been playing. but, in general, i have seen the guy take beating after beating and get right up and keep playing. he has played behind some horrid o-lines and is not the most mobile guy so he has taken a lot of punishment through the years but typically fights through it.

i'm not sure he has anything to prove to most normal football-watchers.

 

If I was getting knocked on my butt and getting my head pounded into the ground every week behind a horrible o-line, I would not be a happy QB either.

 

I'm sure the bills fans, coaches, and front office are really glad Manuel went for that extra yard instead of just getting out of bounds.
