Entering the season, Sean Lee and Bruce Carter looked like one of the best young linebacker duos in the NFL. It just took four weeks for the Dallas Cowboys to bench one of them. Source: NFL.com DaBears22's Take: Sims, Carter, Sims, Carter. Which is the lesser evil to start against Manning?
They're probably sending a message to Carter. He didn't look too good against Rivers and the Chargers last week. I like this accountability they're doing. If you don't play well, you take a seat on the bench. About time.
its not all about stats Rags what has he done to make us better, his audibles at the line of scrimmage are atrocious. he calls a screen to WR at the 4 yard line instead to throwing to DEz who has one on one. We have a nice lead at SD and he changes the run play to passes which lead to 3 and outs. i was being sarcastic but since you asked Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2
Carter will still start given Durant is out, but I think this is only a one week thing, honestly. Carter as much as admitted he wasn't focusing as much as he should have been. It's a message, no doubt. One that Mo needs to receive too. I really can't blame him too much for the first touchdown to Woodhead though. I don't give a heck what anybody says. That was a great throw.
Carter has admitted in interviews this week that he felt lost during the Chargers game. I thought this defense was supposed to be simpler than the one that was run last season.:icon_confused:
