Tony Romo's interception heard around the NFL world should have never been thrown, according to Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett. Speaking to reporters on Monday, Garrett said that Romo should have checked the ball down to running back DeMarco Murray rather than try to squeeze the ball in to tight end Gavin Escobar. Source: NFL.com DaBears22's Take: This loss shouldn't be on Romo's shoulders according to Jones. He himself seemed relegated to losing vs Manning, according to the article.
Good take, DaBears22. The man threw 5 TD's and led the team to 48 points. Why not bang on that lack of any defense instead of singling out Romo...and I don't really care for Romo.
this is probably taken out of context but it's something he shouldn't have said anyway. what a freaking ignorant, dumb freaking joke of a head coach. this is how coaches lose players.
Not sure if serious... This game is on the Defense. I find it funny how everyone blames Romo. Yes that was a boneheaded throw.. But the guy put up 48 freaking points. That should win in the NFL. The defense failed this game. (I know Manning and the Broncos have made every defense they have faced their snitch. But it still doesn't hide the fact that our defense couldn't stop a toddler Sunday.)
Chech this tidbit out @espn_macmahon: INTs in last 3 min of 1-score games since '06: Eli 15 (220 att.), Brees 13 (234), Roethlisberger 13 (249), Flacco 7 (136), Romo 7 (272) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2
lol most attempts and tied for least of that particular list. it's a nice little stat for everybody else to ignore.
