Falcons Fear WR Julio Jones Out For Season

NFL Media's Jeff Darlington reported Tuesday, per a team source, that the Falcons have "legitimate concern" that wide receiver Julio Jones will miss the season with a foot injury. The Falcons are sending Jones for a second opinion and Fox Sports' Jay Glazer first reported the news.

I'm not playing fantasy football. I assume Ward is.

 

ward's fantasy problems aside, this really is an enormous hit to the falcons offense. jones is their most impactful offensive player. gonzalez and white are more safety valves for ryan and one of the reasons they are so productive is because of jones' ability to stretch the defense and command extra attention.

with him gone, this offense becomes very pedestrian.

 

It's a HUGE HIT to the Falcons playoff chances and Roddy White isn't playing like Roddy White. Jones is a game changer!

 

He's the best player on that entire team. Definitely a huge hit.

Jay Glazer is about as unreliable as they come....theres reason to be optimistic
