Carson Palmer is different. He doesn't mind looking ahead at the schedule, like most fans. "We have a stretch of very winnable games coming up," Palmer said after Arizona's Thursday night loss to Seattle dropped the Cardinals to 3-4. Source: NFL.com DaBears22's Take: The Cardinals next four games are against the Falcons, Texans, Jaguars, and Colts. No disrespect to Jaguars fans but every team views a game against them as 'winnable'. Atlanta and Houston have chips on their shoulders and want their season turn around pronto, try not to give them extra incentive to take out your knees Carson.
Could be right and great for team moral. Problem is, not one of them is a divisional game where the Cards are O-fer this season and looking up to San Fran and Seattle.
Couldn't agree more and I think Palmer actually believes what he's saying. through 7 games his will to win is only superseded by his mental mistakes. Don't know how or why, but at game time Carson just leaves the confines of this planet and heads for unknown mental galaxies. Really quite puzzling given his proven track record. Guess it just happens, but playing from a deficit position game in and game out wears on a team physically and mentally.
Well, as a qb, palmer is what he is. I think finally now everyone who follows the nfl realizes it, even though many still believed he was a stud when he went to the raiders. As far as looking ahead on the schedule, every player does it, they just usually don't talk about it.
Who thought he was a "stud" when he went to the Raiders and who thought he was a stud when he was in Cincinnati?
i'm curious now so i'm going to go bump a few threads so we can make fun of people who said stupid crap about palmer in the past.
alright, i bumped a few of the threads with some funny comments about palmer being great but there are so many, it would take all day to bump all of them.
