By the middle of the third quarter of Sunday's game at Oakland, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles had his brush with football immortality. Foles' seventh touchdown pass of the game tied an NFL record held by Sid Luckman (1943), Adrian Burk (1954), George Blanda (1961), Y.A. Tittle (1962), Joe Kapp (1969) and Peyton Manning (2013). Source: NFL.com ICECOLD's Take: Nick unexpectedly goes nuts on the Raiders which confuses the QB situation a lot more in Philly. Does Chip stick with the hot hand if Mike Vick is healthy?
Ive never been big on Foles, but scrubs don't throw 7 TDs in one game Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
He's started 11 games. He still has a LOT to learn, and he's still going to have games where he looks like crap. The only way to know what the dude really has is to commit to him. Going back and forth between him and Vick is not going to help you determine what you have long term. I hope Chip takes this game and realizes he has something there and calls him starter for the rest of the season. Vick can't run an offense anywhere close to that, even on his best day.
