Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who was projected to miss a minimum of four weeks after suffering a groin injury in week seven, plans to return as the team's starter this Sunday against the Detroit Lions, per a team source. Barring a setback, he expects to start this Sunday in the key NFC North matchup at Soldier Field. Source: ESPN DaBears22's Take: Awesome news for the Bears. This will bring Cutler back well before the initial thought was of his injury. Let's just hope he is 100% if he takes the field against the Lions.
Huh? I thought he was going to be out at least a month? Definitely good news for the bears, although they did much better with mccown than i thought they would. I had pretty much written them off this season
With Cutler returning, the Bears may be able to rally here and put together a little run...especially if Rodgers misses some time.
Yep, if Rodgers shoulder is broken, they are in some trouble and it opens up the division for the bears and lions to take
I was watching the postgame show on Comcast Sportsnet here in Chicago and former Bears QB Jim Miller sees no reason to rush Cutler back with the way McCown has been playing since Cutler got hurt. While I would love to see Cutler back this sunday, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if he misses atleast one more game I guess.
