McCoy's got filthy moves. Just filthy. And Packer's lb Jones has missed two critical tackles on this drive.
Much needed win. Tolzien looked better than I figured he would, but I was actually more nervous with him coming in than Seneca. I knew Tolzien would heck up on a couple throws. .500!
Key to this game was containing Lacy. The man is a beast and he didn't have more than one or two 10+ yard plays. Great job by the defense.
Agreed. Foles has had a good amount of time on most snaps. One sack all game. They collapsed the pocket a good amount, but only one sack. Damn.
 Apparently they Packed him full of vitamins. Anyone referring to the Cowboys game is discounting the coaches game planning along with QB decisions. This guy's a gamer...
Tough loss for the Pack but all things considered, I think Tolzien did pretty well. It tough when you have to come in and save the day when the other guy gets to practice all week and then goes out with an injury in the 1st quarter. The first interception was Tolzien's fault but the 2nd one, where it got tipped was just bad luck. Today just wasnt the Pack's day. They needed to play almost a perfect game and get a few lucky breaks and simply didnt happen. Luck was on the Eagles' side (that 1st TD pass is a perfect example) and they were the better team today. Hopefully with a week of practice, Tolzien can improve his timing and his accuracy and things will be better. The Packers didnt play a bad game, they simply made too many mistakes and didnt cash in when they had their chances.
Coming off of a game with 7 TDs and a perfect QB rating...Foles raised his season QB rating from 127 to 135. 16 TDs, 0 INTs. Not too shabby.
Well...I got one wish granted. Now we'll see on the other. I wanted Foles to have a big game and hopefully start putting to bed the QB storyline in Philly. Yes, it's a small sample size for Foles, but he's shown me enough to make me a believer and I'm just as good at picking QB's as any other rodhead out there (including GM's). There's just no need for Philly to piss away a draft pick next year when "The Man" is already on the roster.
