Colts Would Trade For RB Trent Richardson All Over Again

Praised in most corners for their trade of Trent Richardson from Cleveland two months ago, the Indianapolis Colts have recently taken a lot of criticism for the move.

Richardson has 250 yards in seven games with the Colts.

ICECOLD's Take: The title should say "Colts WOULD trade Trent Richardson." 2.8 yards per carry isn't going to cut it in this league

 

Notice it doesn't say they would still give a first round pick for him

 

i think the issue with richardson is more vision than anything. he has all the physical tools obviously just mentally, i don't think it's there

I agree he doesn't have the vision. I also question how hungry and competitive the guy is.

 

I cited that as a problem of his going back to last year. A lot of stuffs at the line of scrimmage and dancing in the backfield.

He doesn't see the holes, so he can't accelerate through them. Now the video everyone's talking about? That's a different story entirely.

 

I think we have to be fair. He never had to learn to have vision, so how could he have developed as such? He's clearly on the path to becoming a bust, but maybe he can learn.
