Week 15: San Diego Chargers At Denver Broncos TNF

Broncos drove way too easy on that first drive. Hopefully the Chargers defense can make a play on this 2nd drive.

I'm glad this is the last TNF game of the year. Not a fan of it. Games are always sloppy.

anytime you can watch a pro or college football game is a good time no matter what night it is!!!!!

 

I flinch every time I watch Philip Rivers throw the ball. Dude looks like he's trying to dislocate his shoulder when he throws.

 

You wouldn't prefer they have time to prepare physically and mentally for a better game? Players hate it.

 

I missed how they did it, but the Chargers scored a TD to take a 17-10 lead right before the half.

 

Defense has locked Peyton down. 3 straight 3 and outs

 

Wow...nice catch by Vincent Brown for a big 3rd & long Chargers conversion. Driving to start the 3rd....

 

Matthews with a 23 yard TD run to give the Chargers a 2 TD lead...nice. Of course, Peyton can go into beast mode at any moment.

 

Novak puts the kickoff out of bounds...like Peyton needed the help.

 

Especially after the Broncos scored on their first two drives, I never expected the Chargers defense to play so well. What a great win for them.

 

But they play because it's entertainment and we are their audience.
we are paying for the show and whenever they are told to play,they must.

 

They play because they are paid to, of course. And the NFL has them play on Thursdays because of more money in their pocket.

But as a fan of the sport, wouldn't you prefer skipping a Thursday night game for a more well prepared, better played game? I think it dilutes what the end product should be.

 

Yea Thursday night games suck. I go to bed at halftime anyways.

 

True but if they play Thursdays, they get all the injured in before the busy weekend crowds. You know, player safety & all...
