Week 15: Philadelphia Eagles At Minnesota Vikings

Peterson questionable and Eagles riding an NFL best 5 game win streak. All signs point towards an Eagles victory, but it could be a let-down game combined with SI cover jinx.

I think the Eagles get 6th in a row here...

 

Not so sure about that. Minnesota's stadium is loud and the fans are closer to the field. A lot depends on how Philly deals with that.

 

The Eagles under Chip send signals via pictures and non-verbal communication a lot. They are prepared for loud stadiums.

 

According to Sean Jensen at K-TWIN,Vikings players were told last night that Adrian Petersen will not play.Jensen also tweeted that Toby Gerhart won't play either and the Vikings have activated Joe Banyard of the practice squad.

 

Damn. That sucks.

 

This could be an interesting game.The Vikings have been better this past 4 weeks and Greg Jennings looks much better with Matt Cassel under centre.Cordarelle Patterson has been making plays and if Banyard gets the start what adjustments will the Eagles coaching staff make.Banyard played well in pre season and players coming of the practice squad in recent weeks have made a habit of showing the Vikings coaching staff that they underestimated their talent.

I can't stand fans like you that don't want to beat teams at their best. It's a shallow victory. The W is nice, but it's not as exciting or meaningful.

 

just read that Petterson and Gearhart are out today. This pretty much guarentees a Eagles victory =(

 

Doesn't help my fantasy teams any where I have either AP, Gerhart, or both.:(

 

Eagles defense allows a couple of first downs after the Vikes started with good field position, but Minny misses the FG. Let's see what this offense can do in a dome for the first time.

 

Cassel to Jennings for a 57 yard TD. Screw.

 

Eagles get a FG, but the Vikings are once again in the red zone as the Eagles have no pass rush on Cassel.
