The actor Peter O'Toole who found stardom in David Lean's masterpiece Lawrence of Arabia, has died aged 81, his family has annouced. The acclaimed leading man who overcame stomach cancer in the 1970s passed away at the Wellington hospital in London following a long illness. His daughter Kate O'Toole said: "His family are very appreciative and completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of real love and affection being expressed towards him, and to us, during this unhappy time. Honestly you guys have made this website interesting for me. I've stayed away from ALL forums for 2 years because of the young children joining these websites and they really have no idea what they are talking about and don't care to appreciate people like O'Toole
really lucky to have made it into his 80s cause he used to party hard.lost a lot of his stomach and intestines in the 1960s due to drinking and had to stop.anything he was in was good,but he was off the wall in night of the generals and my favorite year. he was such a good actor that any role he played,he looked great in and there are'nt many actors you can say that about past or present.
