What no Safety's before the 4th?????

Damn near perfect for us IMO. You a dressed our most pressing needs with good players. I like mid round DBs right now for us. Too early to cast Carr aside and we still need to let Claiborne, but we do need CBs, which is why 5th is a perfect. With Safety Wilcox will grow and while isn't a world beater, he is somewhat capable. I think our need there is for a 4th rounder to add depth and keep Heath off the field and push Church in 2015.

Sutton right now is my favorite Tampa 2 3 Tech with Jernigan close. While I'm not a huge fan of Jeffcoat, he is very good value and will help our pass rush

When I was doing this I realized the Cowboys could most likely get the safety they want and wait a round to do it.

And I agree, Sutton is a beast and could be a very underrated player in this draft

There may be only 4 QBs that will go in the 2014 draft

Bridgewater, Carr, Bortles, and Manziel. Mariota and Hundley are returning. And Mettenberger got hurt.

Mettenberger will still get drafted as will many more. Teams like Cincinnati, Tennessee, and St Louis all have a QB but might still look to get a quality replacement in case they arent happy with their guy. Plus, other teams will be looking towards the future or looking to get a quality back up to their starter

If they don't take Bridgewater or maybe Bortles #1 I'd rather see them trade down and add more picks.

I think it will be between Bridgewater or Clowney

Does anyone see Bridgewater's teams he played against playing a part as to where he'll be drafted?

Maybe a little but his play overshadows that. On top of all his physical attributes when throwing the ball

ZERO chance of Manziel ending up in Minnesota,Rick Spielman will not draft him.Spielman got rid of Harvin and Kluwe because they were regarded as distractions that the organisation didn't want,so there is no way he brings the Johnny circus to town.More chance they draft Mettenberger and let him sit for a year to rehab his knee and learn the offence, put up with Cassel as the starter and Ponder as back up and go from there.
Also a chance that we may change defensive schemes depending on the coaching situation, and that will impact the draft.Having said that, with the situation as it stands now I'm ok with the rest of your picks position wise.
No one with any common sense is so deluded to think that the Vikings are going to turn this around in 1 year.We will have a new Coaching staff,a very suspect QB situation and be playing outdoors for the next 2 seasons. There is a good base to build off with some of the younger players on the roster, but it will take time.
