That is honestly one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Why do Christians get a wider right to free speech than everyone else? Jesus this is ignorant phuck.

Christians don't get anymore free speech than any other group.

They probably get less especially in schools.

    Don't believe me

take bible out and start reading out load at a public.

Then try it again but with a Koran or Buddhist holy book or Hindu book.

See which one get most people riled up.

I have a religious belief that requires me to stomp the testicles of bullies flat.

I want legal protection for my views also...

Freedom of speech, write your local paper and tell her to keep doing it! They can't stop that!! hell no!! this is a sign man, her chance to serve!

The local paper will not touch it, they're ran by the school supervisors family. Ive contacted a news station in the city to see if they'll touch the story. Its very frustrating, if I have to be tolerant of other religions, then others should be tolerant of my daughters.

Yep,some schools in Australia started doing that because it "doesn't take into account the multi cultural society and the rights of non Christians"

Have other kids with other religions tried to pray in your daughter's school?

I don't mind giving Christians, Atheists or any other group the right to bully gay kids as long as the law provides the gay kids the right to maim or even kill bullies. Just guessing the incidence of bullying would drop.

And praying in school? Hard to believe the Supreme Court's ruling that it's illegal to pray in a public school just celebrated its 50th Anniversary. We need more attorneys to clean this mess up.

Religion is like a p**is. It's nice to have one, and it's even ok to be proud of it. But I don't want anyone rubbing in my face...

Anytime you elevate your religion into forcing it upon others is egotism in my opinion.

I feel the more open honest discussion people have about their feelings and beliefs are the best way we have to understand each other. The less you know about someone, the more prejudice/hatred exists.

Open dialogue is great in theory. But people generally can't have a civil conversation when it comes to religion.

It takes time, but most people do change over the long haul as they begin to understand others. Who would have imagined the new Pope and his stances even 20 years ago?

Zealots and extremists will always exist, but open dialogue I strongly think will lower their numbers. I personally think that at the root of the majority of people there is not hatred.
