    I remember being disappointed when I moved from Virginia to Washington that gas went from 99 cents a gallon to 1.19 LMAO I thought that was SOOOOOO high

    I never lived in the US at that time. I started smoking 20 years ago and probably went to the US in 97 for the first time as a smoker they were 2 bucks :)

    My old man was a Vickers jobber and had 2 stations back in the day. When stations would have an all out battle it was a "Gas War" for customers and the lengths they'd go through to get someone to fill 'er up was amazing, especially lowering prices. Cheapest I can ever remember seeing at one station was 17.9 cents/gallon.
