Packers Re-Sign CB Sam Shields

The Green Bay Packers have re-signed cornerback Sam Shields to a four-year, $39 million deal that includes a signing bonus of $12.5 million, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

A source told Schefter that Shields will earn $30 million over the first three seasons -- $15 million in the first year, $6 million in the second year, and $9 million in the third year.

Great news for Sam but dammit if that didn't make it much harder for the Niners to keep T. Brown

I guess the Packers where too afraid of losing Shields if he hit the open market. Talk about overpaying...

 

Not to mention CB Carlos Rogers. I read that the Niners have given him an ultimatum of take a pay cut or get cut. True?

 

I read that he's going to get cut. Its really too bad,but they are locked and loaded to grab a CB in the draft I guess >.<
