I believe you are thinking of kidnapping or bank robbery, not rape. Rape is usually based on opportunity. Ever heard of date rape?

 

He drugged these girls,at least 4 or more in different cities.he got caught cause he got sloppy.most date rapes are crimes of opportunity,but a lot of these drug rapes people get by after stalking the victims,making a plan,and going after the person they stalked.

 

Drugging girls definitely takes some forethought, but most rapists do it based on opportunity.
