The last two years the Phillies were 14 games over .500 with him, and 30 games under without him. While I know I shouldn't expect much out of this team, for some reason I'm not as pessimistic as last year. Part of it may be that with all this damn snow, I just can't wait for spring/summer and baseball represents so much of that to me.
i'm with you there dawk, def not as down on the team as last year. if howard go 30/100 i think the phils are right in the mix of playoff contention.
j-roll's days as a phillie are numbered. he doesnt have the ability to play and act like he wants any longer and it's not going well with sandberg.
final straw may have been an interview last week where rollins was overpraising bowa’s managing style and that larry let him be himself ?? a buddy of mine made a great point that this is a very mcnabbesque passive/aggressive putdown cause we all know jroll and bowa didnt see eye to eye
