SF Giant SP Tim Lincecum Throws No-Hitter

Just saw this on Yahoo Sports and NBC Sports before I came in here. His victims today were the San Diego Padres. I believe he no-hit the Padres last July.

 

Throwing a no-no against the Padres shouldn't count. Just sayin'

Seriously, though...congrats to The Freak.

 

Surprised he wasn't racking these up earlier in his career.

 

He would have had a perfect game if he hadn't walked Chase Headley in the second inning.

 

It doesn't necessarily work that way. If he would have thrown ball four over the plate, perhaps Headley would have gotten a hit. There's no way to know what would have happened.

Yeah. I forget his name though.

 

that ump screwed him big time!

 

remember the next day at a game between both teams,he was crying like hell! and the call he missed,a blind man could have gotten right,remember?

 

Jim Joyce has always been a good ump. The way he manned up and felt so bad after that blown call made me gain even more respect for him. His emotion was genuine.
