On a kinda related note, apparently it's become cool to bash Jennifer Lawrence on the internet, but I still love her.

 

I like her a lot.

 

1. Why bash Jennifer Lawrence?

2. Why is there a third place game today? What's the point?

 

I guess people think she tries too hard to be funny or relatable. Idk, they're idiots.

I think the point is to determine who gets 3rd place.

 

The point is, to make money with another game. Basicly it's like the Pro Bowl - it's there, even if nobody cares about it. Not even the players....

Another borefest in the making. Watched the end of the 1st half of the Brasil vs Netherlands game <yawn>

 

Brazil has no interest in playing this game...

 

2 hours to go, until the big game starts. What we heard from the team, is that they stayed very grounded after the semi-final. No big party after the game, or any silly behaviour. They're focused on the final and want to come up with the cup

LBJ was quoted as saying today that the WC final is bigger than the NBA Finals. Really? Seriously?

 

The NBA final is an American final, the WC final a worldwide event.....

 

Yes, seriously. Obviously. Like olly said the nba is an American sporting final, and still half of America doesn't give a crap about it. The world cup is the culmination of the most popular sport on the planet.

 

Not I. I respect the World Cup a lot, but I'm a much bigger fan of basketball.

 

I'd watch the WC over NBA Finals any day...
