Had my final draft of the season last night. This is League 1 in my signature, has some non-standard scoring aspects and IDP players, go LBs and JJ Watt avg a little over 10 pts per game. Had the 5th pick in the draft, decided to be a little contrarian and go heavy on WRs. 1.(5)Calvin Johnson (Det - WR) 2.(16)A.J. Green (Cin - WR) 3.(25)Alshon Jeffery (Chi - WR) 4.(36)Alfred Morris (Was - RB) 5.(45)Jay Cutler (Chi - QB) 6.(56)Jason Witten (Dal - TE) 7.(65)Pierre Thomas (NO - RB) 8.(76)Trent Richardson (Ind - RB) 9.(85)J.J. Watt (Hou - DE) 10.(96)Lavonte David (TB - LB) 11.(105)Kelvin Benjamin (Car - WR) 12.(116)Lamar Miller (Mia - RB) 13.(125)Harrison Smith (Min - S) 14.(136)Jordan Matthews (Phi - WR) 15.(145)Philip Rivers (SD - QB) 16.(156)Paul Worrilow (Atl - LB) 17.(165)Phil Dawson (SF - K) Top 25 waiver players Any thoughts?
I would drop Jordan Matthews for Justin Hunter. We expect him to be a beast this year in the Titans' new offense. Rest of team looks good. Looks like waiting on running back paid off getting Morris in the 4th. I'll have @LebaneseFF look at your IDP.
Thanks. Any concerns over Locker's ability to get the ball downfield in that offense. Not too high on TENN this year.
Here they are: Tackle Solo 1 Tackle Assist .5 Sack 4 Interception 4 Fumble Force 2.5 Fumble Recovery 1.75 Defensive Touchdown 7.5 Safety 3 Pass Defended 1.5 Block Kick 2.5 Tackles for Loss .25
I think JJ Watt is drafted a little too early for a 10 team league, but you have him now so reap the benifits. Love Lavonte and love Harrison Smith. (Hsmith will not get you huge plays but I got a plan here) You are in a big play league and Worrilow will not get you any of those, you are counting on tackles with him and they are worth peanuts in your league. I am sure you can get someone a little more interesting as well as stable. Could you do me a favor a post your LB's on the waiver. Let's find you someone who can get 100+ tackles and big plays.
It might have been a bit early, but I have him rated above any other DE's and since we have to play a DE, i think it was worth the risk. Worrilow was on a whim. Here is the list of available players. I couldn't sort by LB, so i sort by projected fantasy points for 2013.
You have a few options. My favorite played last night was Bobby Wagner. He only had tackles last night. But he is always a threat. JErod Mayo is another top 12 pick. I would go with either of those. Jerod Mayo has a good matchup this week pick him up.
I did, great advice, thanks.. My IDPs were outstanding putting up 59 points (loved the Harrison Smith TD). Ran into the unfortunate combination of Marshawn Lynch, Leveon Bell, Julius Thomas and lost by 3.88 points, 203.69 to 207.57.
