again buck - it simple - your other worldy qb threw a pick 6. you can not discount that from the scenario no matter how much you want to. your qb ducked up & your defense is overrated.
Locally yes. not trying to discount that at all. what I am saying is that even after throwing the pick 6 the Saints were ahead with 3 minutes to go and the Browns having to drive 85 yards. That lays squarely on the shoulders of the defense and Ryan.
Maybe if Brees wasn't such a horrible suckbag, then they could have been far enough ahead to make a game-winning drive an impossibility.
Sorry for sayin' but if that's true then Saints fans want their cake, pie, cookies and every other dessert on the platter and eat it too. Also have the worst memories on record when they were ready to anoint Ryan the next Pope less than a year ago. Definitely pathetic.
after the debacle of '12, rising up to #4 seemed pretty good. You would have done the same thing. Anyway, I still think they can come back.
like when you went to the Super Bowl in 08 and the playoffs in 09 then dropped off the face of the earth? I read lots of Card fans saying they were here to stay. I see how that worked out for ya.
Thing about Cards fans is the expectations never get out of control. And you must know the one and only Cards fan who said the Cards were here to stay. That one's a first. Are you one of those who wants Ryan gone? Somehow I doubt it.
let's give it some time. while 0-2 is bad there have been teams to go 0-2 and win the Super Bowl. And it is not like the Bills or Jags or Raiders going 0-2. We will get the defense fixed.
In the last 25 years, 198 teams went 0-2. 23 of them, or 11.6%, made the playoffs. 4 of those, or 2%, made the Super Bowl. 3 of them (1.5%) won. Good luck with all that.
The Saints have a tendency to play up to or down to their competition. They need to get their feces together.
