Week 3: San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals

Well, 5 minutes left in the game, Cards up 20-14 with the Cards on the Niner's fiver yard line and Fitz coughs it up to the Niners. Potentially could have iced the game. Maybe one of the more important defensive sequences coming up for the birds. Birds look good, 9er's not so much.

 

Cards' D does it. Way to go boys!

 

Ellington with the 20 yard gain and a 1st down with under 2:00 to go. Ellington...you duh man, but what's gotten into the O-line opening up holes like that?

 

Stay aggressive boys, but DON'T COUGH IT UP with under a minute to go.

 

Got to admit I had a man crush on Ray Horton for what he did here. Todd Bowles is my new man crush.

 

Untested rookie K beasts out Jay Feely in preseason, gets the spot and just put the game out of reach. Now that he's 9/9, who's Jay Feely? Cards 24-14.

 

The Pahtee is Ovuh!!!!!!!! 3-0 with Palmer on the shelf and the defense looking far better than anyone would have imagined with the loss of all of our starting LB's from last year. Good day to be a Bird fan.

 

Today I'm glad Kaep played below par. But don't throw him to the curb yet. SF has lost some key players and its only game 3. That said 9ers ain't looking like themselves....and I'm glad.

Definitely a question for 49er's fans. That said, he's not a novelty anymore that teams were having a tough time game planning for in year one. Give any team two years and they'll learn to take away some of his weapons. I'm just surprised more plays aren't called designed for him to run it more. Just an opinion.

 

Wish @TJ and @Fez were still doing their thing. I'd like for them to start a "Cut Jonathan Dwyer" campaign.

 

Hope cards' fans are enjoying watching Fitz play this year. With Floyd and Brown looking awfully good and Fitz's touches going down, this may be Fitz's last year in Red & White. $18.5 million against next year's cap and less touches has me thinking hew won't............but duck I hope I'm wrong!!!!!!!!
