    Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota won the heisman trophy tonight.

    Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon was 2nd. Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper was 3rd.

    1. Maybe it's because he passed for over 3300 yards, threw 26 TD passes, was intercepted only 6 times, and had a rating of 155.3.

    2. Mariota looks like a good kid. Smart too. Got his Science degree in three and a half years.

    I'm going to laugh at whatever team takes the rapist. He is going to flame out big time.

    Mariota worries me too but I think he's a good kid. He may have some early success in the nfl, but once he gets to the point where he needs to become a pocket passer, I really don't know if he will stay successful. We've been seeing this quite a bit and I'm not convinced mariota can be different

    Well, mariota has declared but I'm still not sold that he will be a good nfl qb. His accuracy, ability to read, and his decision making are still question marks as far as I'm concerned.
