Someone just dropped Bran Quick in my 12 Team Standard scoring league. I was high on him before the start of the season. I think I should pick him up but don't know who I could or should drop. please help. Here is my roster QB Cam Newton, Car QB Alfred Morris, Wsh RB Alfred Blue, Hou RB DeAngelo Williams, Pit RB A.J. Green, Cin WR Jarvis Landry, Mia WR Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TB TE Browns D/ST D/ST Andrew Franks, Mia K Le'Veon Bell, Pit RB SSPD Joique Bell, Det RB Darren McFadden, Dal RB Jordan Cameron, Mia TE Danny Woodhead, SD RB Brandon Coleman, NO WR Stevie Johnson, SD WR DeSean Jackson*, Wsh WR O
Your lineup is quite solid throughout, so this is tough. As Alex, Mark and I discussed on last night's podcast, we think Quick has to play- he's too talented. But we also don't know what the situation is in STL. Why was he a healthy scratch? Until we have more concrete info, it will be a true quagmire, and tough to project Quick. The comment I made was this: Quick is an extremely high-upside add, but you have to be comfortable accepting a goose egg for awhile. He may put up zeros until his situation- whatever it is- is resolved. If you're OK with that, add him. If not, stay away. Depending on your scoring, my top two drops would be McFadden and Desean. Yes, someone will scoop up Desean right away but let them. Ask yourself this, even when Jackson is healthy would you be confident enough to start him over Green, Landry, or Stevie?
Agree, so maybe Run-DMC. Or leave quick on waivers. I don't own Desean on any team, I'm just not a fan.
I Your right i'll just sit on the team I have. DeSean was available so late in my draft I figured he was a phenomenal bye week plug
