it is expected to shatter the record opening weekend of jurassic world earlier this year. it took in 250million bucks. to break the all time box office held by avatar,it will have to take in 2.8 billion dollars.

I already watched it. I went offline since last wednesday to avoid spoilers.

Disney and JJ Abrams might very well have saved the Star Wars franchise. I really liked this movie.

Yea dude I loved it. There was one part in particular that I had a problem with but overall it was infinitely better than all of the prequels.

Wrong. Rogue One opens during the Summer 2016. Sure, it will not be a part of the saga (it will not have an episode number), but it's one of the "spin-off" movies that Disney will make every year. The Han Solo movie opens in 2018. So, it will be like this:

    2016: Rogue One
    2017: Episode VIII
2018: Han Solo Biography or something
    2019: Episode IX

i have yet to see star wars, but is it as close to being perfect as the 1st 3 ones were? star wars, empire strikes back and return of the jedi were just awesome! last 3 were good, but not as good as the 1st three.

They're better than the prequels. That's for sure. As for the originals, you'll have to decide for yourself. If it helps, my updated Star Wars ranking would be as follows:

    Episode IV
    Episode V
    Episode VII
    Episode VI
    Episode III

And the other two remain unranked because they really suck.

Yes, I think it's better than Return of the Jedi.

I agree with this although I liked clone wars. epd 1 should be purged from existence.

also, I still hate lucas to this day for turning the wookies into ewoks in ROTJ
