It's week 6 already. 1/3 of the season has gone by. Tonight we get Chiefs vs. Broncos and I'm just curious to see how many points Mahomes will put on them. Nothing else to see here... Cowboys play the Chargers on monday night but since I don't trust them against good teams, and I'm still not sure if the Chargers are a good team, I guess I'll stay away. Seahawks vs. Bengals seems like an interesting game, and niners vs. Browns if Watson can play, I guess.
My game watching this weekend: Tonight I'll probably flip to the game during commercials of Philles-Braves. Not sure if I'll watch any of the Ravens-Titans morning game as I'm usually fairly busy Sunday mornings. 1 pm games I'll probably flip between 49ers-Browns & Panthers-Dolphins (I just really enjoy watching Miami's offense). Eagles play the Jets in what will be a good test for the Eagles offense. I will be disappointed if the defense doesn't play well.
Our week Six, boys Week 6 College and NFL Pick ‘Em: SportsChump vs The Wife Hates Sports vs Lisa Horne - Sports Chump Happy wagering. And when they found out Danny Dimes wasn't playing this weekend, did the line go down?
I was so happy when the 49ers lost . That didn’t last long as Hurts played the worst game I’ve ever seen him have. He was so careless with his decisions. Very disappointing.
I didn't watch the game but the Jets have a way of forcing quarterbacks into bad decisions. Odd week for sure.
No more undefeated teams after week 6. I don't know the exact stat but this feels like the soonest we get to that point in ages. So tonight we get to see if the Cowboys can recover from such a beating from the 49ers. Also, I didn't realize this was Kellen Moore's revenge game. McCarthy said a lot of stuff during the offseason about how he only looks to make the scoreboard spin and not manage the game. Well, our game manager doesn't make the scoreboard spin, but still looks inoperant at times. Should be fun.
Horrible, awful game, but a win is a win. Playing like that we're not going very far. We didn't beat the Chargers, they beat themselves, as usual.
Eagles sign Julio Jones and the biggest surprise for me is that he was still in the league. AJ Brown pushed the Titans to get him back in the day so it's just about making him happy, I guess. I don't think he'll be a factor at this point of his career.
I didn’t know he didn’t retire either. Quez Watkins went on IR so it’s a low risk high reward signing.
Sometimes I forget Micah Parsons is like...22 years old. He has his own podcast, and was ranting yesterday about getting all the hate when they lose, and nobody giving them credit when they win. That's how it works, son...and I'm not talking about the NFL or football, but life in general.
LOL. And it wouldn't surprise me. Jerry will probably lowball him like he did with Dak for years. At least we get three more years before he walks...4th year, 5th year option, franchise tag.
