We finally get good prime time games this week!! We get Ravens vs. Bengals tonight which should be a good one, although I still believe the quality of thursdays games is down not because of the teams but because players are not 100% rested. Still...I think I'll have a look. Cowboys face the Panthers as 11 point favorites and I'm not so sure about this one but only because I think I have not watched a single minute of the Panthers this season (not like the Giants who I follow because of the division and I knew we'd have no problem covering the 17 pt spread). Maybe I'll tease them or something, I don't k now, I'll see... Ohh...super bowl rematch. I'll let Dawk talk about this one...
I completely agree with you that even a good Thursday night game like tonight is tainted by the lack of rest. I have to go to sleep around kickoff time so I won't be watching tonight. For the 1pm games on Sunday, I'll mostly be watching Raiders-Dolphins as my buddy who is a fins fan will be over. I'll probably flip through other games on my pc. 4pm - I'll be watching Bucs-49ers, and rooting heavily for Tampa. I have no interest in the Vikes-Broncos game Sunday night. Eagles-Chiefs on Monday Night Football...such a good test for Sirianni. Andy Reid is 4-0 against the Eagles since he went to KC. I'd really like him to show that he is good coach and win in that environment. There is an outside chance that we have our regular secondary back for the first time this season. That will be nice to see. This is game two of the brutal stretch that Eagles fans call The Gauntlet: 1. vs Cowboys W (1-0) 2. at Chiefs 3. vs Bills 4. vs 49ers 5. at Cowboys 6. at Seahawks If we can go 4-2 on this stretch I would be extremely happy. After this they close with 2 games against the Giants and a game against the Cards.
Wow...Burrow out for the remainder of the season. Poor Bengals fans. They came into this season with such high hopes.
Right on time as always, almost. Have a great weekend, gentlemen. Week 11 College and NFL Pick ‘Em: SportsChump vs The Wife Hates Sports vs Darrell Harden - Sports Chump
A lot of ugly games yesterday. Not a good day for the Eagles as Lions, Cowboys, and 49ers all won. Pressure is on the Eagles to try to stay ahead. I'd really like to see the Eagles running game get going again. Hopefully the return of Cam Jurgens helps that out. It's more important with Goedert out.
Don't worry, Dawk. As I understand, this Cowboys win doesn't count either so you're still good and in control of the East. I made a lot of money this weekend!! One teaser a parlay, and of course, the Cowboys covering the 10.5. Fortune comes to the bold. Sucks about Burrow...second time, I think, he misses more than half a season, right?
I'm so disappointed by our offensive and defensive lines. The first half was ugly as hell and the Eagles were definitely fortunate to win.....but winning in KC is never easy. Win and learn! Updated Gauntlet Results 1. vs Cowboys W (1-0) 2. at Chiefs W (2-0) 3. vs Bills 4. vs 49ers 5. at Cowboys 6. at Seahawks
Shaq Leonard was waived by the Colts. Did not see that coming, he was great a few years ago. We have a need at LB, might be worth it to have a look...move Micah back to full time DE.
He cleared waivers. I'm a bit surprised by that. Eagles are said to have interest as well. They could use some LB help. Nakobe Dean is injured but he wasn't cutting it when healthy.
He cleared waivers because his contract had like 20 million guaranteed for 2024, which now will be absorved by the Colts. It was expected. He'll probably sign for less...
