We get a re-match for the second year in a row. Chiefs open as 1.5 pt favorites but I expect that to change in the next few days. The historic chance for the Chiefs for the three-peat will be the story for two weeks. I'm sure the Eagles are longing for revenge, but I don't know. Should be a good, close game that I just hope the refs don't get to decide. Everything about the big game here. Let's go.
It's been a quiet super bowl week, uh? The Chiefs are being actually questioned about how the refs favor them. I don't think I had seen anything like that before. Mahomes handled it well enough but you have to wonder if he's rattled by all that chatter. Anyway...the line hasn't moved so the pick is in: Chiefs (-1.5) over Eagles. Yes, I know it could be the first three-peat. Yes, I know they will tie us with 5 Super Bowls (it was 5-1 the last time we won). But they will tie the 49ers too, so that's nice. HOWEVER, I think the Eagles can make this interesting. They have the defense to pressure Mahomes all day, like the Bucs did some years ago. But still...I can't pick the Eagles. It would be betrayal...so there's that. In order to break even in the Challenge, the Chiefs must make history. I'll be out on a work trip the rest of the week. I honestly don't have much of a feel as to how this game will go. I feel the Eagles probably have a slightly better roster, but the Chiefs have Mahomes and slightly better coaches. I can honestly see this game going either way. I thought about if someone put a gun to my head and I had to pick a winner though, I would take the Eagles. This is going to be a loooooong weekend waiting for kickoff.

I did not see that ass whipping coming. It still hasn't sunk in for me. What dominance. I think back to after the Tampa game earlier in the year. Hard to believe the turnaround this team had. I'm so happy for Jalen and Nick. They have been ripped apart throughout year. Fangio brought such a toughness to the team. 6 sacks without a single blitz the entire game. Amazing.
Tampa is our criptonite so many bad memories against them even beat us by a 62 yard field goal before.So happy when the commanders beat them. This whole playoff run was so fun all 4 games. Happy for Siriani and Jalen as well crazy how much criticism they got this year.
I think the Eagles are the best run organization in the NFL. Maybe top 3 in all sports. They have the best GM/Owner combo and at this point, I don't know how you question them (count me among those ridiculizing the Saquon signing). I am so jealous of you guys. You will catch us in Lombardis within the next decade or so. But please...chanting "Dallas sucks" while winning a Super Bowl is little brother syndrome. Don't do that. Congrats again.
I hope we can keep zack Baun keep this core defense together. I think we’re gonna lose josh sweat and Milton Williams but we’re rumored to be in the miles Garrett option. Slay has played his last game as a eagle but we’re in good hands with coop and Quinyan. Offense I think we’re good contracts wise with most so we can definitely make runs for another bowl.
I didn't know fans were doing that. I've moved on to hating the Commanders haha. I think you're right. Rumors are that Baun really wants to stay. It makes sense for him since it's the perfect system for his style. I'm sure Howie will take care of him.
