I never read the book, but I loved the movie. I don't have Hulu so I won't watch this series. I'm currently doing a re-watch of the Sopranos. Just finished the first two seasons. It's the first time I've done it since the episodes aired originally. It's strange how 20 years later it more than holds up. As I've gotten older I appreciate different things about it than I did when I was younger. I now really enjoy Carmella's story lines (and especially her acting) and Dr. Melfi whereas 20 years ago I mostly cared about the mob stuff.
I think I haven't watched TV (other than sports) in a very, very, very long time... We cancelled our cable last year and increased the internet bandwidth. We don't miss it at all...
Here's my review of FX's "The Bear" An outstanding, f**k**ing show. Hope y'all enjoy! Review: The Bear, Season One - Sports Chump
My take on all the Saturday Night Lives docs and the 50th Anniversary extravaganzas. Saturday Night Love - Sports Chump
Great read, Chump. SNL definitely holds emotional connections for me as well. Watching the 50th brought back so many memories. Not just of the sketches, but of friends and places that I was around during those times. Very cool that you were at a Gilda party.
