I went to the beach this morning. One of the cds that I listened to was Nirvana's 'Incesticide'. I read the booklet that came with the cd, and Kurdt told a story about searching for original Raincoats stuff. While I had heard of The Raincoats, I never actually listened to any of their albums. So I downloaded their self-titled debut. It's not bad at all.

I'm currently listening to: The Raincoats - Black and White

On a side note mostly intended for Apoc, another album I listened to on the beach was Bad Brains' 'Black Dots' album. I know you are always looking for stuff to listen to, and I feel this one is a must for punk fans. If you don't have it, you would probably like it a lot.

There's a song that got played on the radio four times during my 16-hour shift at work yesterday (ugh)- it's called "Different Than You" by the Exies. Probably been out for a while but I'm just now hearing it. Not bad.

Also the first single from the new Smashing Pumpkins album, "Tarantula," rocks pretty hard. And to think, I used to HATE the Pumpkins- Billy Corgan's voice annoys me sometimes.
