As stated in the first post of the thread: Please, please, please include your league scoring with your post so everyone can give you informed feedback. Also tell us how many teams are in the league, how many starters at each position and your draft slot.
Good draft except for rounds 8, 9, 10. With those passing bonus points your league gets Young may be a bit of a reach. He's a good NFL QB but in a league with your rules a traditional passer may be a better option. JP could surprise people and be your starter soon. DEF and K should never be drafted when positional players are still on the board IMHO. I think I've posted this in almost every draft review thusfar, never draft 2 kickers!!! What's the point? To cover bye weeks? There are plenty of capable fillers on waivers you can pick up to cover the bye. Draft for depth at WR and RB instead. You could still use some depth at RB. Overall, nice team. I completely agree with Garnett. Every year I draft Donnie Edwards late in my IDP league and every year he outperforms most people's #2 or #3 WRs. MLBs or safeties on bad teams are good tackle machines and all those little points add up. Overall the computer did you nice on the draft. Again, why 2 kickers? Don't drop D'Angelo Williams, drop Josh Scobee. Never, never, never drop a starting RB. You never know with injuries if that guy could one day be your starter.
Ok, with this team, I dropped the St. Louis defense and picked up the Jacksonville defense off waivers. Now, for those fantast experts, is this move thumbs up or thumbs down in your opinion?
Here is my second fantasy team. STARTERS QB: Donovan McNabb (Eagles) WR: Tory Holt (Rams) WR: Javon Walker (Broncos) W/T: Deion Branch (Seahawks) RB: Larry Johnson (Chiefs) RB: Clinton Portis (Redskins) TE: Chris Cooley (Redskins) K: Shayne Graham (Bengals) DEF: Philadelphia Eagles D: Champ Bailey (Broncos) BENCH QB: Chad Pennington (Jets) WR: Donte Stallworth (Patriots) WR: Santonio Holmes (Steelers TE: Desmond Clark (Bears) RB: Adrian Peterson (Vikings) DEF: Green Bay Packers

I gotta agree with Double C. Romo in the 7th is a bit of a reach. Schaub in the 13th will give you similar value. Campbell is a 13th round value too. Nobody else was available then? I like Brandon Jackson in the 10th. Overall, good draft but weak at QB.
in a 10 man league with coworkers for 50 dollars apiece. scoring is 1 pt every 10rush rec yards 1 pt every 25 pass yrds 6 pts every td and 1 pt every reception. kicker and defensive scoring are like most drafts.... i was originally trying to post a thread asking for help because with the 5th pick i assumed i would have shaun alexander and joseph addai available to me and wasn't sure who to take. i was leaning towards addai simply because of the 1pt per reception. now my predicament is who do i take 4th do i grab either brady mcnabb or palmer if availble or go for another wr.. no not special people drafting just guys stretching for players and a couple guys first time. so the draft has started and this is who i got so far will update roster as i draft people. qb tom brady 4 (35) rb joseph addai 1 (5) rb shaun alexander 2 (15) wr terrel owens 3 (25) wr andre johnson 5 (45) wr chris chambes 6 (55) te k def reserves qb rb ahman green 7 (65) rb wr wr te def
Ok, here is my third fantasy football team at yahoo. I've done some tweaking to the roster, so it's not what was totally drafted but this is my third roster none the less. STARTERS QB: Jon Kitna (Lions) WR: Terrell Owens (Cowboys) WR: Donald Driver (Packers) WR: Hines Ward (Steelers) RB: Larry Johnson (Chiefs) RB: Edgerrin James (Cardinals) TE: Tony Gonzalez (Chiefs) K: Nate Kaeding (Chargers) DEF: Seattle Seahawks D: Walt Harris (49ers) DB: Brian Dawkins (Eagles) DL: Tamba Hali (Chiefs) BENCH QB: Jake Delhomme (Panthers) WR: Issac Bruce (Rams) RB: Ahman Green (Texans) TE: Desmond Clark (Bears) K: Jason Hanson (Lions) DEF: Arizona Cardinals
Shaun Alexander fell to 15??? Good for you. How does he not go in round 1? Are you playing with "special" people or something?
Shaun Alexander in the 15th round? Yikes! Sure, the man was injured last season but when healthy and with a good O-line, he can still do very good things.
15th spot, not 15th round. :icon_wink: But the fact that he was still on the board after 1 round and a half is pretty amazing. :icon_eek:
We did our draft last night... I got pick # 9...boo. please be nice. QB Phillip Rivers and Big Ben RB Maurice Jones Drew. Marion Barber, Deangelo Williams WR Chad Johnson, Marcus Colston, Donte Stallworth, Teddy Ginn TE Todd Heap DEF Chargers and Vikings K (I haven't grabbed one yet, we only did 12 rounds
