No need to dump McNabb. He's not the problem. He'll get to be more like his old self as the season goes along. Besides, who are we going to go to? Kolb won't be ready anytime soon, if he's an answer at all.

first off you're dead wrong if you think brady would be putting up these types of numbers if he didn't have the wr corp he does now. he never threw for 30td's even with that great o-line in his career and here he is at that mark already.

secondly, i never said we are one w/r away from having an offense like the pats do this year but all we saw what mcnabb could do with a good w/r corp in 2004. you'd think that in the wco which is based on the pass you'd have a gm that made sure you had better weapons.

mcnabb isn't the one we need to dump, reid as gm is the one that needs the boot.

smeagle- I aint trying to argue or fight with you. You have your opinion- I have mine. I say some of the problem lies with the WR corp. I will agree that as a GM- Reid sucks, and a coach, Reid has lost it. He was good for a time, but this year, maybe the other teams have caught onto his act, but he flat out sucks.

But where we differ on opinion has to be McNabb- IMO he lacks arm strength, accuracy, mobility and conditioning. I aint saying he's worse than some other QBs around the league; but I'd much rather have Garcia back. He had the heart and drive this team needs. On the other hand, Garcia is not long term fix either.

    But that's just my opinion.

fish, no arguing here, it's only a debate, that's what football talk is all about bro.

now while i agree that mcnabb's accuracy has always been an issue, arm strength is his greatest atribute. his mobility and conditioning are a product of his injury. he's coming around slowly. personally i think mcnabb would be better served to be in a more traditional offense. like the one garcia ran last year.

on garcia, i liked the guy, he was a nice fill in but as you see this year and as you saw in detroit and cleveland he's only as good as the talent around him.

anywho, hopefully we take another step forward this sunday - i'll be there so don't expect to see me here monday as i'll be sleeping my buzz off. :icon_cool:

We Eagle fans amuse ourselves by scaring every Dallas Cowboy fan we see strutting down the street with that obnoxious blue & silver star on his coat. We swerve our cars as if to hit them, and then swerve back just missing them.
One day, while driving along, I saw a priest walking. I thought I would do a good deed, so I pulled over and asked the priest, "Where are you going Father?"
"I'm going to say mass at St. Francis Church about 2 miles down the road," replied the priest.
"Climb in, Father! I'll give you a lift!" The priest climbed into the rear passenger seat, and we continued down the road. Suddenly, I saw a Cowboy fan walking down the road, with that coat on and I instinctively swerved as if to hit him. But, as usual, I swerved back into the road just in time. Even though I was certain that I had missed the guy, I still heard a loud "THUD."
Not understanding where the noise came from, I glanced in my mirrors but didn't see anything. I then remembered the priest, and turned to the priest and said, "Sorry Father, I almost hit that Cowboy fan."
"That's OK," replied the priest, "I got him with the door."

When does it get to a point where the team says, "We can't be dealing with this kind of publicity anymore."?

    Totally agreed.

That's hilarious. Andy would be able smuggle an entire meth lab in his butt.

Ok- maybe Andy shouldn't be held accountable for his children's actions- basically because they are adults. But A) they live under his roof, and B) this kind of behavior did not just start yesterday. I'm not saying they learned it from their father, but they sure didn't do much to stop it.

Plus, the article also stated, ... the judge likened their home environment to a "drug emporium." Judge Steven O'Neill questioned whether Reid's adult sons should live there, given their drug problems. "There isn't any structure there that this court can depend upon. . . . This is a family in crisis," O'Neill said.

If these were my kids, I would be sick to my stomach.

I agree that Andy & Tammy probably shouldn't have gotten any Parents Of The Year awards, but at the ages their kids are now, they are adults that know what is right and what is wrong as far as advancing yourself in society. Being busted just once should have been the learning lesson that they needed.

i guess andy does need to take some responsibility here for this mess but what about tammy ? she was the "stay at home" mom, she was the one that raised these kids. she didn't see any of this happening ?

andy was running a football team, a job that takes 31 other men away from their families just like andy and college is no different.

End game hasn’t arrived yet for McNabb, Eagles

Where does the media keep coming up with this theory that McNabb is being considered as trade bait? The fans certainly haven't been calling for it much from what I've heard.

the philly media has been fueling this idea since kolb was drafted. seilski is from the buck co. courier and as you can see he's questioning all this talk.

to me mcnabb is here until at least the end of next year.

My mindset is for Reid to step down. I would rather hear about how much the team sucks, why they suck and why they need to get better than to hear about personal crap about Reid's family. I want to hear football, not about two drugged up hecks.

well i love the eagles but i dont see them making a comeback like last year and makin the playoffs i say that we might as well just get a good graft pick because of our record. we should also experience with some backups well it might be 2 early for us to give up. I also think we should get a new headcoach after the season when his sons get out this is bound to happen again and why lose because of some kids so i say we should just get a new headcoach and work from there. well i really just hatin losin to dallas it sucks even though were a good team and i cant figure out why were playing bad i just dont know. i think its widerecievers but now our defence looks bad so idk whats wrong

The Eagles won't get that good of a draft pick. Probably middle to early 20's. No way we get a top 10. I'm not even thinking that.

I have wiped out the hopes of a playoff berth. Even if we did, we wouldn't get past the first round.

And no, we aren't a good team. Not at this point.
