I will be happy with the eagles as long as we beat the giants and we beat the cowboys then i will be happy with the eagles just because of those 2 wins.

 

Sunday's game is a big one for me. I have a friend who's a Giants fan. We've got $200 on the game with each other.

 

Nice i think we could win just because we didn't have westbrook in the last game westbrook changes the eagles play all around he changes everything i think its very winnable.I hope the eagles win im so tired of the eagles losing im not use to it im use to seeing the eagles in the post season but all teams have those 5 to 10 bad years before they get good again i think its starting to happen.

 

Plus, we will have Tra back for this game. No way the Giants rack up 12 sacks.

 

At the begging of the season the eagles looked like a superbowl contender But what happened everything possible has went wrong with us.I just can't describe it like when does a professional football team gives up 12 sacks it just doesn't happen.Then two muffed punts against the packers but its not just bad luck andy reid has alot of bad calls on the field he should run the ball way more than he does and sometimes he runs when he should pass just dumb things like that.

 

I know the frustration. This team should have at least 4 more wins if not for the coaching decisions. We should be fighting for playoff positioning instead of trying to make the playoffs with a miracle stretch run.

 

Exactly we lost to the packers should of won that same with redskins,bears,and seahawks which i think we should of won i think we should be 9-3 team which is pretty good and being in control of the 5th playoff seed

 

well, another loss. the offense looks like crap with mcnabb in at qb. no that feely makes much of a difference, yeah sure we score more but we still lose.

we need to dump reid.

 

I think the Eagles went "uh oh" after Feeley had a poor showing against the Seahawks. Can't say this offense can be run by anyone after that game.

This will be an interesting offseason. Peter King reports that the Eagles have around 17-18 million under the cap and that's before the team, hopefully, dumps Howard, Kearse and McNabb.

Some receivers may be available this year as well.

Broncos might drop Walker.
Pats might feel Stallworth isn't worth the bonus.
Roy Williams wants out of Detroit.
Bengals might be done with Ocho.

Do I think the Eagles will sign any of these guys? Big NO.........But a fan can dream can't he? lol

Well, hopefully the team listens to WIP because even Jerry Rice was on there saying that the West Coast offense NEEDS a go-to receiver.

I'm not even sure the offense that is run under Reid can be called West Coast anymore

 

you need a go to wr and you need a qb who is well suited for that system. mcnabb was never a good fit for the wco. reid knew that after 2000 and any great coach would, adjust to your talent but noooooooooooo. he just kept trying to force things and only gave his franchise qb two compitent wr corps.

 

I see some of the 2008 mock drafts are having the Eagles go Olineman yet again.

Sigh, I can see the possibility with Thomas and Runyan not getting any younger, but it sure would piss me off.

 

we wouldn't need to if the prior picks at the o-line postion panned out better. other than andrews that is.

 

We need, the way I see it:

FS - Unless Mikell takes over. He has been playing ok
SS - Considine sucks
DE - Both Howard and Kearse should be cut
WR - Bump Curtis and Brown down to #2 & #3.
QB - If they trade McNabb, going to need another guy behind Kolb and Feeley
CB - Hopefully Sheppard's injuries are why he hasn't been that effective this year
TE - They need a playmaker at this position. Schobel and Celek aren't the future.

 

This team has so many holes that it pretty much should just draft the best player available. Hopefully that player is a safety.

 

my first wish is jason garrett as head coach.

I would be interested in Garrett. I have thought about that for quite some time. It will never happen, but I have thought about it along with smeagle.

I would go outside and let a bear butt rape me if we ended up getting Garrett for the HC and Parcells takes over the GM job.
