I dont know about all that but i would love to have him as a hc because he knows the values of a real widereciever and can probably get one but i wouldnt let a bear butt rape me but i would love to have him as head coach.
First order of business once FA starts: Throw some cash at Dallas Clark. I think if we could land him, the need for a go-to receiver wouldn't be as great. Second order of business: See what the Broncos want for Javon Walker. The team might have to restructure his contract and Walker came out and said he wouldn't do it. No way he goes for a 2nd like the Broncos gave up to get him. Then start to prepare for the draft.
I'm not sure what tight ends are free agents this offseason, but i am sure Clark has the most talent. I also heard that the TE draft class isn't all that great.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3156001 Harbaugh is interviewing for the UCLA job. Wasn't he just promoted within the organization? I wish him luck. His time with the Eagles seemed to be wearing thin.
Yeah somehow if we can land dallas clark and get a good reciever like javon walker just like dmacizdaman said the eagles should be able to do something offensively then maybe in the draft go after a cornerback or a safety in the draft hopefully we can get kenny phillips he would be a starter for us hes a beast. But our main need is receivers and tight ends.
Yeah, he went from Special Teams Coach for nine years to Secondary Coach this season. The special teams seemed to slip from being one of the top units in the league to mediocre the past few seasons with him, and not that it's his fault, but the secondary has been awful this season. I don't think it will be that huge a loss.
Yeah i could see him being the reason why are secondary isnt like it use to be we have some very good players back there alot of probowlers and all of the sudden they arent good and they cant get interceptions it wont be a big loss at all.
That wasn't exactly what I meant, but yeah, he could be a part of the problem. Considine and Dawk losing a step didn't put him in a great position.
I actually like Quintin Mikell. I think he could actually take over for Dawkins when he retires or gets cut. As for the strong safety position, I really hope they don't like an "ok" player in Considine. As much as Lewis stunk it up, he was still better than Considine. Hopefully Shepperd's injury woes were the reason he lost a step this year. I won't get that upset if they don't sign a receiver, but sign a playmaking tight end. Someone like Dallas Clark can only help the core.
Wow great game today by everybody mcnabb did well held onto the ball sometimes but also threw it away alot our defense shutdown the cowboys held the NFC best offense to just 6 points and trent cole and the d-line showed up in the 4th quarter getting 4 sacks and 3 picks on defense and no turnovers on offense we did really well we could of scored more but we had alot of opportunity and westbrook was smart on the last play of the game stopping and running out the clock but i would of loved to see him run it in but was a good decision in the end.
I'd like to buy eaglesrule4ever a "." :icon_eek: Much needed win for the Eagles. They get to hold off the media horde from tearing them apart for a while.
if we could sign dallas clark and get our hands on a let's say roy williams, this team would really be scary. this goes againt the typical gold standard way of going about things so i won't get my hopes up.
hey tj, man was that a game ! typical nfc east defensive battle, there big hits all game and although i thought the hamlin hits was a penalty and don't think there was true intent to injure there.
Yeah, I agree. Roy Williams, on the other hand...I'm pretty sure he'll get suspended this time :icon_rolleyes:
Yeah, there were tons of big hits all game long. It's nice to see the defense play like that again. I'm so glad we had more interceptions than Owens had catches.
I loved when mcnabb threw the touchdown and did a T.O impersination by standing on the star it was awesome lol.
