No Andy, you went into the first game of the season without a guy who could hold onto, let alone return, a punt after letting go of a guy who you kept on the team all of training camp.

 

It's really tough to ever hear Andy speak without getting angry.

 

It's too bad there were only 6 spots. it would've been nice to see Dallas/Giants/Redskins/ and Eagles in the playoffs. Your division is a powerhouse, going to be rough on the NFC WEst. Then again, NFC WEst sucks anyway sadly since they realigned the divisions. You just might go 16 and 0 against NFC West, cakewalk in my book. Seattle will be sorry they beat Dallas.:icon_cheesygrin:

Damn guys, I am so nervous about Heckert possibly leaving to go to Atlanta. I'm not nervous because he is leaving because I don't think he is all that great in the first place. But I am so scared on how this team is going to fill that hole. I am praying Reid doesn't takeover and becomes in charge of EVERYTHING. But I highly doubt that the team will go outside and bring in a new face that will, God forbid, "shake things up" a bit.

While I am at it, why are their rumors that Brian Billick is going to join the staff? He certainly won't give input on the defense since he is an offensive minded coach.

 

i heard he was going to be offensive assistant but hes not a good offensive mind either he is actually really bad so why would anyone hire him we should try to keep heckert he is pretty good at what he does and i dont want andy reid to take his job.

 

I want no part of Billick.

I can't believe it, but I am starting to get back on McNabb's side again after this. Too little, too late? Maybe. I am hoping that McNabb doesn't retract his statements and turn back into "business as usual".

If this team ships McNabb out simply because he is telling the truth, then I honestly don't think I can root for this team while Andy Reid, Tom Heckert and Joe Banner are calling the shots.

 

i hear you dmac. now at least the qb is echoing what everyone else has been saying about this team. the question is will the front office laugh him off as a moron like they do everybody.

 

yeah he is definetly right now the staff has to respond to that and bring in someone good i dont know how but we need someone like chad johnson.

 

And I can honestly give a flying heck what Reid says about "Watch what you say." That's bullcrap. The FO is just pissed off that they got called out on something everyone knew already and they can't keep treating us like idiots by telling us this is a great team.

 

exactly REID is just trying to put crap into our heads its not going to work a 8-8 team is a 8-8 team its average at best.We need WR is our no.1 priority and We also need CB and O-line.

 

I really hope this doesn't turn into a Phillies situation where the front office is in denial and tries to make us believe a .500 team needs no change to contend.
