exactly, so go get the best available options at all three phases of the game. it's that simple. or so you would think.

the more i think about it the more i see lj smith being the x factor. we did not have good production from the te position and it killed us, especially in the red zone.

adding a playmaker at wr just makes us that much better. so why not dot it ?

but yes, we need defensive help, we need a better rush on the qb. let's face it, we play a couple of tough teams in our division and we need to put pressure on their qb's to be sucsessful against them.

a return man is crucial, was there any reason we didn't look at rossum ?

 

i can't even believe i am saying this, but it sounds like the Eagles are going to try and make a serious run for Asante Samuel.

That one signing could cause i nice domino effect. It would mean we could trade Sheppard, which I do think they want to do, for a pick and/or player.

I'm not sure how much Sheppard is worth at this point however.

Takeo Spikes was on the radio today and said the team was real close to making a Super Bowl run. The one thing they need?

So that makes McNabb, Spikes, Runyan, Dawkins and Westbrook who say a playmaking receiver is needed.

smauel can sign for $200mil, it won't matter because only $25-$30mil of that will be guaranteed.

i just think you're going to cause issues signing him for that and trying to justify what westbrook is getting.

 

i do hope it doesn't cause problems in the locker room. basically the only player who is outperforming his contract right now is westbrook.

LOL, Jerome, Jevon.... so easy to forget his name since we barely saw him last year. I'm with the rest of you I feel like a kid in a candy store this time of year. I just hope mom and dad will buy me something good!!!!!!!! Personally I want Stallworth back just so I can wear the jersey my bro gave me for xmas 2 years ago. I have a lil more faith in our current WRs that I think having LJ and Stallworth back will make the difference we all want and let us have the bucks needed to bring in Faneca AND Samuel : ) Skrew Fitz he's NOT worth the money he's turning down in Ariz now and will cost us HUGE in a season or two IF we managed to get him.
